I’m Faisal Khan, the proud owner of Canadian Home Theaters.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
During my graduate program, I happen to work on the automation of media using Pronto Hex codes. It was very fascinating at the time. Then after settling in Canada, I noticed a large void in the high-end media control setups. I took it as a challenge and started Canadian Home Theaters in 2006, initially as a home theater installation business. However, over the years, due to my educational background in the field (Masters Degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas), we have developed into a top brand in automation setups.
In the past fourteen years, the business has changed quite drastically. Today, we are involved with two-way feedback and artificial intelligence software and are gradually taking over the traditional infrared one-way control.
As a one-stop-shop, we offer full packages ranging from basic to advanced, so customers can rest assured that we will find one that suits their budget and lifestyle. Besides, we always listen to our customers’ needs and try to exceed their expectations.
Putting a smile on a customer’s face is the most rewarding experience of owning this business. Customers are fascinated when they see technology playing a vital role in creating a wow factor. In the last fourteen years, my most fulfilling moment was when we delivered a $250,000.00 project to one of our clients in Hamilton. He was extremely satisfied with the end result!
As a professional business, we believe that if you chase excellence in your field, then money will pour in automatically. However, as the owner, I attribute our success to my educational background and my late father, who was always encouraging me even during hard times.
When I’m not running the business, I love flying, hunting, shooting, and playing around with electronics in my lab.
I also strongly wish to pass on the knowledge that I have gained over the years to kids from unprivileged backgrounds and make good technicians out of them. This will require teaching them the basics of electronics and putting them through proper schooling.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way we do business.
